Daisy, Why Another Day? ♫ [open]
« Thread Started on Feb 18, 2008, 5:18pm »

Luka had eyes for the dark, and this was just one of those days where he ended up wandering alone, just by himself. Sure, he'd known people, he'd talked to people, he'd even lately been fond of company, but tonight was just, well, one of those nights. He could see everything plainly, as though it were daytime. But it wasn't, not at all. It was pitch-black, and not to mention the added fog of another early autumn rain storm. Tonight he had something to do though, what exactly that was, he wasn't sure of yet. Maybe he was just making it up as he went along. "You're a fool, Luka, a bloody fool." He rolled his eyes at himself. It was funny, he wasn't even British, but the man who'd ended up teaching him a bundle of the English that he knew, had been. Rice had taught him everything, he'd even taught him what not to say in English, for fear of getting in a fight. Rice would have laughed if anyone had tried to fight Luka in the first place though. It was as though he was invincible. Except for one thing, when it came to Dragon's Breath, a substance that was often captured only by paranormal hunters.
And sometimes, the same people that seemed to constantly be after Luka. Apparently they didn't like what he was and had tried to take him out more than once. But when he'd moved here, he seemed to have left them all behind. Counting the steps he took in his head, he found himself stressed out. He was only now OCD, after all these years of hiding this secret that was his life. Even if he wanted to kill himself, he was pretty sure he couldn't. But here, tonight, he was just out for himself. After all, he hadn't slept in so many years, and why should he need to? He didn't need to breathe, his blood didn't flow. But he found himself under a looming willow tree, waiting for something.
The moon cut through the mist, the fog, and danced along the surface of a small pond which shown itself only to him, for he was sure he was the only creature around. He heard none else. All was quiet here. "Tell me when I'm going to live again." He requested as he looked upon the moon, and waited slowly. Was he waiting to be human? Someone should have told him it wasn't possible. Not ever again.

Destiny was walking around the park. It was a nice night out. Kinda cloudy but she looked looking at the clouds. It was pretty dark out tonight but Destiny could see in the dark pretty well. Her eyes would glow in the dark midnight sky. "I wish someone could understand me around here. I feel so alone." She said to herself. She walked some more til she got to her favorite tree, the willow tree. She loved having the branches surround her as she sat up against the tree trunk. She sat up against the tree trunk as she watched the branches sway back and forth.

She heard a voice from the distance. It sounded like a guy and he didn't sound to happy. She decided she would just sit under the willow branches so if the guy was pissed that he wouldn't notice her. Hopefully he doesn't notice me. She thought to herself as she smiled and put her hood of her hoodie on her long hair. She started humming a song to herself. The song was a song her mother used to sing to her and she missed her mother so much. She wished she could see her again.

Luka sighed heavily, and turned his shoulder a bit, as if to turn back and walk away, but it was as if his body had been turned, like someone was pointing him to the girl under the willow tree. He tilted his head, in wonder of what this girl was doing here. He blinked a moment, his golden hued eyes shifting over the form, who seemed to be comfortable not being seen. It was almost as though he could read her thoughts, but he didn't get that blessing. Instead, he got the weird things, like being able to control how light reflected on him. Yes, he knew, odd. He hadn't believed it himself. But the half of a century he'd existed, he'd learned not to expect a lot of normality out of life. Blinking a moment, he decided to take a chance. "Hello." He said, barely above a whisper. Who was this? He was sure he'd never seen her. Though he hadn't been around long enough to recognize anyone. He'd been a bit of a drifter. Moving slightly backward, he put more space between them, figuring her human. While he was conscious of his thirst for blood, he was always cautious when around humans, using the excuse that he had a fear of germs or something, or he didn't like to be touched. Another glance up at the sky, and he started to relax, taking in his surroundings, the sounds, the smells...the smell. She didn't smell right. Nodding his head back to her, he watched the quiet figure, and pondered, stepping forward. She wasn't human. But she wasn't his kind. He'd never come across a half-breed, and he hadn't expect this strange sensation. "Who are you?" He asked the figure, wondering who or what she was. His dead skin was starting to crawl with the thoughts that maybe she was possibly something that could kill him. But he shook his head. What a goof he was, always thinking beyond reality into all this science-fiction stuff. Maybe he was dead, and all this was just a dreaming state. "What I mean is...what are you?" He smirked, to show her that he wasn't any harm, though knowing the things today, he was sure she figured him enemy just by his questions. He stepped closer, ready to speak with her, but also ready in case she took a shot at him.

Destiny looked over to the young man and saw that he was looking at her. Damn it. He sees me. Oh no! What am I gong to do. She whispered to herself. Oh well Destiny. You can deal with this. She thought to herself. She watched him with her eyes glowing. She could smell his scent. He was a Rogue Vampire. She knew he had to be one because he was by himself like rogue vampires usually are unless they have a mate. He sure didn't have a mate and she could see that. She looked into his eyes and saw that he was lonely. Destiny was always good at reading anyone and their emotions when she looked into their eyes. She smiled at him as he said hello to her.

"Hi. My name is Destiny. What's yours?" She asked the strange lonely guy. She knew he was probably hungry for some human blood. Thank god I'm not a human anymore and I'm just a half breed. She thought to herself as she sensed his hunger was strong. "I'm a half breed. Half vampire and half human. I already know you are a Rogue Vampire." She said to him as she smiled and got up to walk a little closer to him. Destiny decided it was alright if she would walk up to him a little closer. She didn't want to be a prude and shrug him off because really Destiny was nice and friendly to anyone or anything. She just smiled at him as she blinked her eyes so that they went back to their own regular color.

"Luka." He answered, pressing his hands back into his pockets and glancing away for a moment. Was she onto him? He wasn't sure, and he didn't much care. So what if she knew he was a vampire? She wasn't, obviously, human. But it wasn't until she had said what she was that he actually was drawn back to her attention. "A what?" He'd never actually heard of such a thing. Then again, he didn't know much about even his species, since Rice had died. He blinked a few times and glanced back up at the moon. It were as though it were calling to him. He'd heard it was luckier to wish on a full moon, than a shooting star. He wasn't sure where though. Now he remembered. "You're a neophite?" He used the term with a smirk. A neophite. He'd heard Rice use it once, to explain what he could have ended up being if he wasn't forced to drink that blood. "How'd you know..." He started to ask, about how she'd known he was a vampire. The fact that she'd known he was a rogue was even more strange. But it wasn't so questionable. She was a half-breed after all. He decided to bring in some general conversing, wondering at who she was, but not wanting to scare her away. He hated when they ran, he hated when they hated him, purely because they couldn't explain what he was. "What brings you out here, tonight? Don't you have friends that you should be with?" That's how he generalized most vampires. Being a rogue, he wasn't one for packs of vampires. He liked to be alone. But he hated the fact that it left him to dwell on what he was alone. He just didn't want to be dragged down into that dark pit of blood-drinking. He didn't want to lose his grace from God, if he still had any. He hadn't known though, that she could understand his feelings, and while she searched his eyes, he began to drift into another mind-set, looking away, and staring at the water again. It relaxed him. "I didn't think anyone would be here." He spoke in a patient, calm voice. "So if you're a half-breed, you can still go back, can't you?" He questioned. If she said yes, he'd envy her. He'd give anything to be mortal. But would he?

Destiny smiled at him when he told her his name. Luka. Thats a very extraordinary name for a rogue vampire. She thought to herself. She giggled a little while he asked what she said. "I said that you were a Rogue Vampire." She told Luka. She smiled at him while she took off her hood of her hoodie from her head. She let her long hair kinda cover her face as she looked at Luka. "Yes, I'm a Neophite." She was curious how he knew her term for her species since he called her a half breed before. She smiled as he gave a little smirk. "I know by the scent I'm getting off of you. I can smell your blood and such. That's how I know your a Rogue Vampire." She smiled up at him as she answered his many questions. Destiny wasn't scared of him and neither would she run away from him either. Nothing really scared her at all that much. She was scared to die that was what she was afraid of. She didn't want to think about her mothers death again.

"Oh nothing. Just taking a walk. I would be walking around the woods in my backyard but I like walking around the park late at night as well. What brings you out here this late? Yeah, I only have a few friends but they aren't like me so yeah. Can't really hangout with them incase I change into my vampire self. I can control it though but tonight I seem to not be able to for some reason." She answered his curious question. This was Destiny's town and she could go anywhere and basically do anything she wanted to. No one really ever liked her enough to be her friend. Her sister Livvy always had friends and got attention. After all Livvy was the "skanky" one of the girls. They were twins but no one really ever guessed that since they looked totally different and were total opposites. "Well, I'm here. No, I really can't go back. My father has been trying to find an spell or anything to changer my sister and I back to mortals and so far he has failed. I loved being mortal but I also like being a half breed. Theres so much you can do with my powers. Why do you wish you could go back to being a mortal?" She asked Luka as she continued to look at him. She wondered why on earth he would want to go back to being a mortal but she could understand because she would also like being human again but sadly that wasn't coming anytime soon.

Luka nodded at her a moment. His scent. Right. He hadn't expected her to have the ability to detect him like that, it was sort of unnerving in a way, but he wasn't scared of it. He feared very little. After all, he was already dead. The least she could do is wipe him from existence, and deep inside himself, he really didn't care to exist at all. "Ah..I see." He said to her answer about why she wasn't with her friends or anything. He was just being curious, but he sensed there was a connection of pain within this conversing. "I know exactly how that feels." Like being a monster. Like you can't ever fall in love, or be with friends because you're something that could potentially be deadly around them. He'd seen it before. Death, but not by his own personal hand. It drove him to walk alone. "It's a lonely feeling..." He muttered. Alright, so he was sort of pitying himself, and he soon snapped out of it. "At least you must have some of your own kind?" He wondered if she was one of the ones that chose the coven. It was a fine decision, good for them. But he wasn't sure he could live logically that way. How could he live at all actually? He was dead. Wasn't he? But he still moved. Why do you wish you could go back to being a mortal? Luka looked at her astonished. Had she read his mind or something? Surely he recalled his words, he hadn't said anything about it. "For many reasons. One being the fact that I could potentially kill a person. Another being that I could actually feel safe, and not feel like people are looking at me strange because I'm a monster of sorts." He paused. He was afraid his words might have been too harsh. Maybe they were, but maybe he meant it. After the death of his family, he had started to wonder if it was at the hands of a gang, or actually at the hands of vampires. If only he could be human and return home, back to where he'd come from. Now it was Croatia, the land that had finally gained freedom from Yugoslavia. "If you could go back...would you?" He asked her, referencing to her father's studies as she'd mentioned. "I'm sorry for putting all this on you..." He said, and let himself have a laugh. He shouldn't be treating her to all this discussion about things they couldn't do. How unkind was that? "So...you can do what Vampires can, but you can also do the same things humans can? I suppose food doesn't taste like ash in your mouth now, does it? You're lucky for that..." He paused a moment, wondering if he actually should ask the next question. "Have you thought of completely transforming? I mean...into a vampire of course."

Destiny began walking up to him closer. She was only now a few inches from his form. Destiny started playing with her long pink hair as she stared at the young guy. He must feel so alone, I know how that feels. She thought to herself. "It is a lonely world here and you just gotta make the best of it. Make a few friends, fall in love, get heartbroken, die and other things. That's just life and it is a BITCH!" Destiny didn't want to freak him out at all but she couldn't control herself anymore. It was driving her nuts how people were and such. Walking alone in the world wasn't going to suit her at all. She wanted someone to love. Maybe, I've found him. Peter is getting close to my neophite heart and I'm probably getting close to his dragon heart. She thought to herself. She began to grow a huge smile on her face as she thought about Peter. The one guy she ever felt so comfortable around that she would randomly get naked infront and such. "Well theres me, Gemma and my twin sister Livvy. You might have seen Livvy around. She dresses skanky and such but she doesn't look anything like me. We are total opposites. I have morals and she doesn't. Lets just say that but I love her anyway." She smiled at him. She wondered a lot about him. He was still a stranger to her and she didn't know if she could trust him off the bat so soon. But then again he was talking to her and asking her questions. So, he must be interested in her.

"Yeah, I know how you feel even though I'm not finished yet and I don't plan on it. I rather be a half breed than a full vampire. I can still change back and forth and I like it. Luka, Your not a monster. You didn't chose this life, It choose you. If my father does come up with a solution or such to change us back into mortals. Would you want to be a mortal again? Now, thats even if he does and hes failed so many times already. Destiny gave him another glance before she looked up at the moon and stars. She loved looking at the midnight sky. The moonlight would shine on her pale and innocent body. She was in her vampire form right now but her body still looked innocent. She knew she was because even when she was a vampire, she would still be her kind self. She couldn't bare to look at herself being a mean and cruel vampire like so many were. "To be honest. I've always wanted to go back but now I really enjoy being a human/vampire. It's not as bad as I used to think it was. It's okay Luka. No apologize needed. Your just curious about me and my kind and thats understandable. Yes, I can do what Vampires can and I can also do what humans can. Yes, I can still taste food and no, it doesn't taste like ash. I really don't want to fully transform. I don't see any point to really. My twin sister Livvy wants to but I've been stopping her from doing that or she has herself." Destiny smiled at him. Boy this guy has a lot of interesting questions for little me. She thought to herself. She looked over at the pond as she walked towards the pond. She was seeing if he would follow her. She felt like sitting. She sat at the edge of the pond and looked into the water.

Luka stared at her a moment, a bit lost. She seemed to feel the same way he did, but it also seemed like she was much more comfortable with her changes than he was. He'd learned some things though. She had a sister, they both were neophites, and she didn't want to transform, but her sister did. He wondered, what kept her from it, why she had her reasonings. But he didn't press, he didn't have to know, and he didn't want to upset her. He wished though, he had the option she had. "Well, I guess you can always be one or the other...depending on your mood." He had himself a chuckle at that. The idea of someone changing depending on their mood somewhat amused him. "Does...does your heart still beat?" That was one question that neither amused him nor distressed him at all. He was just curious. Shrugging, simply, he watched her walk over toward the pond, then sit down. He looked back down the path, and then to the pond, weighing the options he had. He could follow her, sit down, have a conversation, or her could walk back home, to his apartment, where his cat was probably scratching up the walls. Strange, he should keep one of the guardians of the underworld in his house, since he was doomed to end up there. But shrugging off the idea of home, he followed her over to the pond, standing there cautiously for a moment, before he actually sat down and folded his legs under himself, native american style. "Hope you don't mind." He said, and smiled kindly, hoping she didn't. "There is really nothing for me to do at home...so I figured I'd take a walk, get used to this town." It was true. And he was glad he'd met someone finally.

Of course, he was new to the area. He didn't know anyone, besides her. He wanted it to be that way, but sometimes he just hated being on his own. "You'll have to show me around." He said in a friendly way. He didn't want to seem like one of those creepy people. He didn't understand it, but sometimes Americans mistook friendliness for being a paedophile. Not only had that happened to him, but he'd seen his way around a police station a couple of times because of it. What? He couldn't help it. It was in his nature. That was probably why he'd become so cold-shouldered towards thw world. "You know what I don't understand? Why blood? Why couldn't vampires be obsessed with like...liquor or something? But blood? That's almost like being a cannibal." He looked to her. "Sorry...I must sound stupid or something." He tilted his head, glancing at the water as it continued to dance in the moonlight. "How long has it been? For you?" He meant the whole change thing. He knew it wasn't permanent for her, and that she could still age, unlike him. But, he wondered how long it had been since she'd been bitten. "Fifty years." He muttered, before looking back at her again. "I'd just gotten to the United States, and not three months that I was here...was I bitten. By...what would you call them? Looking for the English word...Gang? Gang member? I don't really know. Coven! A Coven vampire." It was easier for him to speak in Croatian, with the bits of English he didn't know at all. "At least I got to see the sixties though." He smirked at that. He remembered a lot of the American Eras. Hippies, Disco, Roller-disco...and especially, "I think the best years were the 80's. Best time for American music." Random, did his mind run. Completely random. And most of the time, he found himself obnoxious. He wondered how he could suddenly be so open, so social. After all these years.

Destiny looked at Luka. He wasn't that bad to look at but she was starting to fall for Peter. Her vampire/human heart was falling for a dragon. How strange is that? She questioned herself. "Yes, I guess I could be one or the other. Whatever my mood is going to depend if I'm going to be in my human or vampire form." Destiny laughed to herself. She smiled at him. She grabbed his hand and put his hand on her chest where her heart was. "Yes, my heart still beats, strangely because I'm alive but I'm dead. Very different. She smiled at him as she let go of his hand. She looked at Luka as she say on the grass near the pond. He followed her up to the pond and sat. Destiny knew he thought about either staying to talk to her or just leaver her and go home. Destiny was very smart and maybe too smart for her own good. She also could read minds pretty damn good. But that was her hidden secret. "I don't mind at all if you sit next to me, Luka. Oh. Well theres not much to this town. Not much to do here either. I'm still in high school. My last year. Thank god! I'll be glad to show you around this small town. Anytime and any day. You just let me know. Okay?" She was happy that she met Luka tonight. Good thing I went for a walk tonight. She thought to herself.

She picked up a midnight lily and put it in her long pink hair as she looked at Luka and smiled at him friendly. "Yeah I know what you mean. I wish we weren't attracted to blood so much compared to other things. Sucks a lot. Damn past vampires. You deff. don't sound stupid. I completely understand where your coming from. I have been like this for very long. Maybe a few months. It happened at the Blue Moon Camp. Wow. Yeah. That sucks! I'm sorry Luka." She smiled at him and she all of a sudden gave him a hug out of the blue. She didn't want him to feel alone because now he had her as a friend. She would be here for him anytime he needed her. She took some water from the pond and drank some. The water was clean and clear anyways.

He had to think. It sounded so much like the stories he'd read about his kind, his history anyway. The whole being bitten, then given the choice. He didn't get that choice. In a way, he felt very much like Anne Rice's Lestat, in that he neither knew his creator, nor had he learned of the path that he now walked all alone. Indeed, he felt very alone, but not so much anymore. Instead, he felt like he had someone he could confide in, this Destiny girl, and she seemed not to fear him. He liked that. Though it made him a bit nervous. He was so used to the fear that he'd expected it from the very beginning. He'd expected her to run in fear of his strange kind. But unlike humans, she did not. "I'll be honest with you, I expected you not to be so kind to me. Not to stick around. I figured you'd be on your way home by now." What kept her around? His thoughts were curious, and he didn't know yet that she could read them. He had a hunch though, about it. "For the first time, I don't feel I have to hide." He looked at her further, studying her, the way she reacted to words and her surroundings. Almost as the predator does to the prey, so that they might know each and every escape route that could possibly be taken. He never planned on killing her though.

"I'm afraid of myself." He admitted. This was true, he was afraid of the evil he was. He was afraid he wouldn't be able to control himself. And he never wanted to transform another being. No, because the thing about that was, that he didn't want to kill someone for a life they couldn't live happily. He was lonely, yes, but he'd rather exist in his own misery than to have someone elses added with it. "I haven't drank blood in a very long time. I must admit, I ache from it. Not being able to feed. It's torture, but I don't want to kill. Death is nothing that I'd like to bear. Not on someone else. I'll admit, at first, thinking that you were human, I had my thirst. But..." He didn't want to seem like a monster, but it'd be better if she knew what she was around, even though she probably knew very well. He closed his eyes though, and rested his elbows on his knees as he held his face in his hands. He just wanted to sleep for once. But he couldn't. No, it wasn't true what they said. There is no reason for sleeping in a coffin, other than that Hollywood styling of how vampires live. "I'm pretty sure I'm going to hell, that is, once I'm destroyed." Now that was a sad thing to say. But he was sure it was true. He didn't know when the hunters would finally get him though. That was his fear of all things. Hunters. Like humans feared that which they didn't know truly existed, he feared the ones with the knowledge, and the power to kill him.

Destiny smiled at Luka and started playing with the water liliy's. She looked into the pond water as her and Luka talked. She was glad she met him and they were becoming better friends. She wasn't scared of him at all because well Destiny was hardly ever scared of anything. "Luka, I'm kind to everyone. I don't judge anyone and I wanted to talk to you. I give everyone a chance at least once. I'm willing to be friends with anyone and trust them once." She was liking his company. She could see that her and Luka would be good friends. Destiny smiled at him. She didn't mind him being near her. "You don't have to hide Luka especially from me. I'm here for you even though I just met you." Destiny was wondering what Luka was thinking about. She could make out somethings here and there. Why would he want to kill me? She thought to herself as she heard his thoughts. She continued to play with the water lily's.

She saw a little toad on a lily pad and looked at it while she played with her pink hair. She smiled at Luka as she grabbed the toad and gave the toad a kiss. She loved nature. She might have been half vampire but she didn't like to cause harm to any creature. "Why are you afraid of yourself? You shouldn't be Luka." Destiny smiled at him. She didn't like how he was putting himself down and such. It wasn't making her too happy to see him so lonely and down on himself. "Yeah, I get that a lot. A lot of vampires try to feed on me before they know I'm a half breed. It's actually funny. Well, my father gets my sister and I our blood or when I'm really hungry I go after an little creature. I hate cause I love nature but my thirst gets really uncontrollable." She became sadden by what Luka was saying about himself. It wasn't his fault the way he was and that he sure didn't chose this lifestyle for himself. Being immortal wasn't all what it is cracked up about. With immortally came consequences and situations that no one his kind or Destiny's kind would like. "Well, I'll be going to hell as well. I mean come on. I'm half human and vampire. It doesn't really scare me either. Death is death. You know if you ever need me, I'm here for you Luka." Destiny smiled up at him as she held the toad in her palm. She wished some way she could cheer him up. She reached over him and gave him a hug. She smiled as she hugged him tightly.

Luka was glad she wasn't judgmental like everyone else. It showed that the world was not just made up of speculative and hurtful people, that there were some people that looked you in the eyes and knew that you had a story, and that this story wasn't an easy one to live with. Nor was it amazing and happy, and gleeful. Nor was there any love to it. It was just there. To learn from such a life as loss is probably the greatest gift, and he was starting to realize this now. The bitter shadow was already starting to fade, and he was glad he'd met Destiny before he'd fallen so far into isolation, he didn't look at the sun anymore when he could. "Thank you." He said without warning or reasoning. She took what she was into consideration, knew the difficulties. But she also knew it wasn't that bad. He admired that. One who can find solidity in all the world's troubles. Even if you are sort of a monster. Feeling her arms around him though, he flinched at first, but seeing as it was her, he relaxed and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You are too kind a person, Destiny. This makes me worry for you. You really are in danger, you know that right?" He wanted to warn her, hoping he could control himself.

Her blood, after all, still raged with that of human blood, but mixed with the vampire touch. It was calling him, but he turned his head away and stared out into the night, trying to catch himself from temptation. But suddenly, he let go of Destiny and stood up, making a gap between them, so that he was at least thirty feet away. "I'm sorry...Destiny. I..." He couldn't really explain himself. He knew she was a friend, and not someone he could drink from, but he just couldn't stay near to her without that sort of thing on the back of his mind. What if he attacked her, oblivious to their friendship, all until her blood was drained away from her body, and she was left cold and pale on the ground. "I should go. And...you should go home. I know what lurks around here. And it's not safe for you." He was genuinely worried about her. What had come over him? A strange cadence at on him. But walking back over, he knelt beside her. "I'm glad to have met you, Destiny." He whispered, and let his lips touch her cheek as he gave her a kiss. This was one of good luck and good night. But what was he worried for? This was her hometown. Maybe he was just superstitious. Or maybe he knew what breeds of animals came and went here.

Destiny looked around the park and smiled. She loved how the park looked like at midnight. The park was always beautiful anytime of the day or night. She smiled at Luka. "Your welcome Luka. I know I'm a nice person. I'm in danger? Who? What? How am I in danger Luka?" She began getting worried when he was telling her this. She didn't understand why he was saying all of this. Who would want to hurt me? Why? I don't have any enemies. I don't think I do? She thought to herself. Now Destiny didn't know what to think or do. Maybe he was warning her because of his hunger. "If your warning me from yourself then I will just leave you alone because I don't want you to do anything to me and I know you don't either. I understand because I too get these strong thirsts for blood." She smiled at Luka. She just gave him another hug to reassure him that she didn't hate him or anything. She understood where Luka was coming from.

She watched as Luka turned away. She was realizing that being around her was really bothering him. She would have to leave before something happened. She grew sad as he walked away from her. She didn't like distance but she understood why he was acting this way. "It's alright Luka. I understand you don't want to hurt me. I thank you for not killing me or sucking me dry." She smiled at him as she turned away. She decided it would be better if she just left him alone for now. Destiny took the lily from her hair and threw it into the pond. She didn't want to leave him to be honest but she also knew she had to. "Okay, Luka I will leave now but that doesn't mean if I see you again I wont say hi or anything. I know what lurks around here and I know I'm not safe but I haven't got hurt yet and I come here all the time. Plus this is my hometown and no one really bothers me." She didn't want to leave him alone because she knew he didn't want her to leave.

"I'm glad I got to meet you too Luka." She smiled and began to blush as Luka knelt down near her and kissed her cheek. She was shocked that he gave her a kiss on the cheek. She wish he wasn't worried for her. She could take care of herself. She was a big girl even though she was 17. She understood him and where he was coming from but she didn't want to listen to him at all. "Do you want me to go Luka? Because I will leave if you want me to. You know I can take care of myself. I'm very capable of that." She smiled at him as she basically told him off. She didn't mean for her to sound mad at him at all either.
