Gemma slid in to the seat, hoping that the spring wouldn't pop out of the chair. She had already seen the movie four times today, but with nothing better to do she sat in the empty theater. The popcorn she had just bought sat there in her hands, she didn't know why she bought it, perhaps it was because the ticket salesmen offered her some for free.

Lucas wasn't sure what he expected to find in the movie theater, however seeing her there made him shiver on the inside. Her blond hair was cascading over the seat, it looked so soft, he had to stop himself from reaching out and touching it. She hadn't noticed he was there yet, or at least she hadn't acknowledged him. He stepped towards her, debating whether he should speak to her. Part of him felt that it was too soon to even think of another woman. Not after what had happened. Now almost a foot away from her, she looked at him, her deep sea blue eyes penetrating his soul. "Mind if I sit next to you?"
